Seman Violins will ship any item in our online store for free in the United States. Unfortunately, international orders and P.O. boxes are not accepted at this time. There must be an adult present to sign for the order at the time of delivery. Should the item be returned, shipping costs of $30 will be deducted from the refund amount.


Defective Items: We will replace defective items or items damaged in shipping; simply give us a call within 30 days of your original order, and we’ll send a replacement at no charge. We will usually ask that you return the defective item to us; we can either send a prepaid postage label, or simply reimburse you for your shipping costs when we receive the defective item.

Unsatisfied With An Item: Items purchased in our store or online may be returned to the store within 30 days for a refund or exchange. If you purchased an item from us online or over the phone, you can ship it back within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange. (Please see the guidelines below.) Since we do not charge shipping on online orders, a return fee of $30 to cover shipping costs both ways will be deducted from your refund.

How Refunds Are Processed:
In-Store Purchases: A cash refund is given for cash purchases less than $10.
In-Store Purchases: A refund check is mailed for cash purchases more than $10.
Online & In-Store Purchases: A refund check is mailed for all personal check purchases.
Online & In-Store Purchases: A credit refund is issued to the same credit card used for a purchase.

While we try to process refunds as quickly as possible, sometimes it may be a few weeks before your refund appears on your credit card statement. If you have any questions about returns or our return policy, feel free to call 847-674-0690.

*All returned items must be in original condition, with the original packaging, and including a copy of the original invoice.

*All non-defective instruments or bows are backed by our 30-day money back guarantee. These items must be returned in “as new” condition. Otherwise, repair costs or depreciation due to damage may be charged. There is no warranty on strings or hair on instruments and bows. Returned instruments and bows may (at our discretion) be subject to a restringing/re-hair fee.

*When returning items with combination locks, like many Bam France cases, please include the new combination code or reset the lock to “0”.
